Teresa is a former prosecutor and civil litigator. Her interest in criminal law began in law school where she was a member of the American Criminal Law Review. She graduated from Georgetown University Law Center.
After law school, Teresa worked in Washington, D.C. at a large civil law firm for two years. With the aim of honing her trial skills, Teresa moved to Washington state in 2007 and worked for the Yakima and later Pierce County Prosecutor’s Office. In 2011, Teresa returned to civil law, working for a small Seattle litigation firm.
Teresa’s practice at Puget Law Group includes criminal defense, post-conviction relief, and representing victims of domestic violence. Teresa is a member of the Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Lawyers Guild, Washington State Bar, Maryland Bar, and several federal court bars.
Teresa lives in Seattle. When she is not practicing law, she enjoys black and white analog photography, spending time with her daughter, and the outdoors.
