Bill has spent his entire legal career in criminal law, dedicating his practice to representing individuals accused of crimes—from rural Alamogordo, New Mexico, to the King County Courthouse in downtown Seattle. His broad experience has led him to handle charges ranging from livestock theft to first-degree murder. After beginning his career focusing on domestic-violence accusations and DUIs in Southern New Mexico, he later returned to Washington, where he ultimately focused his practice on defending individuals accused of serious violent offenses.
His advocacy is defined by a relentless commitment to ensuring clients receive the justice they are entitled to. Bill has secured not-guilty verdicts against violent felony accusations, obtained dismissals of vehicular homicide and other serious offenses, and earned acquittals in trials involving domestic-violence and DUI allegations. His successes reflect his dedication to strong advocacy and achieving the best possible results for the individuals he represents. Bill approaches every case with the understanding that criminal accusations carry consequences far beyond the courtroom. He works tirelessly to understand his clients’ lives, their goals, and how to achieve the strongest outcome for them, without any judgment.
Bill was raised in the Puget Sound area, is a first-generation college graduate, and fulfilled his childhood dream by earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law. He has maintained a strong connection to the UW legal community ever since, returning as an alumnus to assist in mock trial competitions and trial advocacy programs.
