Joshua D. Rosen is a former judge, prosecutor, federal defender, and U.S. Marine.
A retired Colonel, Josh is a battle-tested trial attorney with global experience having served as a prosecutor, chief defense counsel, and commander. His final two tours placed him on the bench as a judge presiding over felony and misdemeanor trials across the globe. Josh has prosecuted, defended, and presided over the full spectrum of offenses from premeditated murder trials to DUIs. Whether in the courtroom or deployed overseas, Josh delivered justice with integrity, precision, and grit.
Before serving his country, Josh cut his teeth as a public defender at the Northwest Defenders Association in Seattle and later as a trial attorney with the Federal Defenders of Eastern Washington and Idaho. After retiring from the military, he continued to serve the public as a federal Administrative Law Judge, conducting hearings and issuing rulings on complex matters.
Now, as a Senior Attorney with Puget Law Group, Josh stands shoulder-to-shoulder with our clients—especially fellow veterans and active duty service members—fighting for their rights with the same discipline and professionalism that defined his distinguished military career.
If you’re looking for a lawyer who understands service, sacrifice, and what it means to go to battle—Josh Rosen is ready to fight for you.
