    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Associate Trial Attorney with PLG, you must be equally committed to and aligned with both our Vision and our Core Values.

You will work as part of a dynamic team that works together like no other. We collaborate and share ideas and insight; we cover for each other in court when needed and you will be called upon largely to assist with coverage to start.

But this position will give you the unique opportunity to grow your experience and skill set as far and wide as you are able and willing. In due time, you will handle a busy caseload of criminal misdemeanors and, depending on experience, eventually (DOE) felonies, working diligently to maintain the high level of professionalism and client care that PLG has become known for.

You will also be called upon to hustle in signing up prospective clients, and asked to share “on call” duties with other team members on a rotating basis.

Finally, you will be invited and encouraged to actively engage in creating content, and to participate in our marketing and branding efforts.

Our experienced and formidable team of criminal attorneys – including (now) nine former prosecutors – have more combined experience than any criminal defense firm in the Northwest. This means you will have opportunities to learn and be mentored that simply do not exist anywhere else — and you will be expected to seek out those opportunities.

    REQUIREMENTS

0-3 (or more) years experience handling criminal matters in court. Bilingual (especially Spanish or Korean) and/or former experience working as a prosecuting are a plus.

Position is full time salaried and on site in either our Tacoma or Kent office.

    COMPENSATION

Annual compensation ranges from $72,000 to $110,000+ (base plus incentives) Benefits include immediate matching 401(k), Health/Vision/Dental insurance, HSA, paid parking, and a highly competitive PTO program.
