(Tacoma, WA, January 20, 2022) — Puget Law Group, a Seattle area Criminal/DUI defense and Personal Injury law firm, announces that Assistant Managing Partner Casey Arbenz has been named as Managing Partner. PLG Founder Dan Gerl, who had previously served as Managing Partner since partnership formation in March 2019, will continue serving as CEO in addition to assuming Mr. Arbenz’s role as AMP.
The changes in leadership are the result of PLG’s significant growth. “As we move forward toward our vision to become the largest and best criminal defense and personal injury firm in the Western U.S., it is necessary to be open to change, and always playing to our strengths,” said Gerl. “These changes allow me to focus my time and energy on what I do best: further developing our brand and doubling down on brand messaging and content, and keying in on growth and expansion. Casey and I have always worked together in leading PLG; these changes allow us to continue this, while taking advantage of Casey’s considerable personnel management skills and ability to get the best out of each member of our team. I am excited for the opportunities these changes provide and I couldn’t be more confident with Casey at the helm for this team.”
“I am honored beyond words. We have experienced exponential growth under Dan’s leadership and his are big shoes to fill,” said Arbenz. “I look forward to continuing PLG’s rocket-like trajectory and cementing our status as one of the best law firms in the country.”
Puget Law Group was founded in 2013 in Seattle by former prosecuting attorney Dan Gerl. Since its formation, PLG has grown from a one person office to a team of 25, including 11 attorneys, with five offices throughout the Puget Sound region. The fastest growing criminal defense firm in the U.S., PLG has been listed for two years running in the Inc. 5000 “Fastest Growing Private Companies in the U.S.,” The Puget Sound Business Journal “100 Fastest Growing Private Companies in Washington,” and Law Firm 500 “Fastest Growing Law Firms in the U.S.”
