KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Senior Trial Attorney with PLG, you must be equally committed to and aligned with both our Vision and our Core Values.
You will work as part of a dynamic team that works together like no other. We collaborate and share ideas and insight; we cover for each other in court when needed. At the same time, you will handle a busy caseload of criminal misdemeanors and felonies, working diligently to maintain the high level of professionalism and client care that PLG has become known for.
You will be expected to hustle in signing up prospective clients, and asked to share “on call” duties with other team members on a rotating basis. You will also be expected to bring and/or build your own “book” of business in the form of direct referrals. Finally, you will be invited and encouraged to actively engage in creating content, and to participate in our marketing and branding efforts.
Our experienced and formidable team of criminal attorneys – including (now) nine former prosecutors – have more combined experience than any criminal defense firm in the Northwest. You will bring your considerable experience make PLG that much more formidable.
REQUIREMENTS
10+ years experience handling criminal matters in Washington State’s District and Superior Courts, including jury trial experience (at least 40). Former prosecution experience and/or experience running your own business/practice strongly preferred.
Bilingual (especially Spanish or Korean) also a plus.
Position is full time salaried and on site in either our Tacoma or Kent office.
COMPENSATION
Annual compensation ranges from $110,000 to $225,000+ (base plus incentives) Benefits include immediate matching 401(k), Health / Vision / Dental insurance, HSA, paid parking, and highly competitive PTO program.
