Shawn Smith



Shawn is our Paralegal Supervisor who earned her Paralegal Degree and began her career working as a Paralegal in Insurance Defense and Personal Injury. For the previous 15 years, Shawn worked at the Pierce County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office as Legal Assistant Supervisor of the Violent Crimes Unit and Appeals Unit, Lead Legal Assistant of the Homicide Unit and Fugitives/Extradition Unit, Lead Legal Assistant of the Special Assault Unit and Lead Legal Assistant of the Felony Vehicular Crimes Unit.

In Shawn’s spare time, she enjoys traveling and hiking but you most likely will find her at the rodeos. Shawn is a Washington State Fair Rodeo Wrangler. Shawn volunteers as a mentor through Step By Step, an organization that empowers at risk mothers and families. Shawn also volunteers through her church to support Olive Crest Community Service where she helps provide annual Christmas Parties for Pierce County Foster Children and other events throughout the year.
